I was going to pick out a few favorites and list them, but there are so many great ones.

I’m particularly fond of the black and white photo piece, the subway map, the colored dots, the red and black ornamental one, the robot…

I set up a grid and within an hour of sketching I had something ready to put into illustrator and use as a reference. The vector is separated by grid and by finished letterform. I took the rough letterform and cleaned it up a little in FontForge and put it back in with the grid so it fit back in nicely.
